Having joined NovaGroup in 2021, ARIAP is now one of the network’s key players in the industrial and commercial vehicle segment. Daniele Leucata, who runs the company together with his brother Salvatore, recounts this journey, bringing into the group a highly specialized expertise in the truck sector.
«We are a distributor of spare parts for industrial and commercial vehicles. Within NovaGroup, together with other members, we represent the industrial vehicle side of the network», explains Leucata. A clear identity that has found in the network a favorable environment to grow and open up to new opportunities.
Joining NovaGroup marked ARIAP’s first experience within a structured consortium—an important step that significantly impacted the company’s positioning. «Being part of the group allowed us to connect with new, internationally recognized suppliers. Some we already knew, but belonging to a group gave us access to new relationships and a broader, international outlook, which we truly value».
This perspective is particularly relevant in today’s complex market phase. After several years of strong growth, the sector is now facing a more challenging scenario, especially in the truck world. «We are entering a period that will likely be more critical in terms of volumes, with ongoing consolidation processes and the entry of large international groups», notes Leucata. Changes that, while increasing competition, also open up new development opportunities.
According to ARIAP, opportunities arise precisely from the ability to observe the market and adapt: new business areas, new revenue streams, and a renewed sector structure can become growth drivers in the medium term. Within the company, one of the most significant milestones has been the generational transition, with Daniele and later his brother Salvatore joining the business. An evolution that strengthened the organization and prepared it to face an increasingly dynamic environment.
On a personal level, Leucata identifies relationship-building as one of the core values of his role: «I like to invest a lot in relationships—whether with consortium colleagues, customers, or in some cases even competitors. Talking and engaging is important, even when you compete with each other every day in the market».
This approach also reflects his view of the aftermarket—not as a linear road, but as a journey made up of curves, climbs, and challenging stretches. «It’s not a highway, but a mountain road. Sometimes demanding, yet capable of offering extraordinary views». An image that effectively represents the complexity of the sector and, at the same time, the opportunities it can offer to those willing to face it with vision and determination.
Looking ahead, Leucata hopes for an increasingly central role for NovaGroup in the truck world: «I hope the group will continue to attract more operators from the sector, creating a positive momentum that further strengthens this side of the network». A shared goal that confirms the value of the group as a space for dialogue, growth, and collective development.
